So here’s the jumper I’m knitting Felix. The body and sleeves are knit in the round. I’m pretty pleased with the way it’s turning out and I can’t wait to finish it. I’m using this free knitting pattern from a lovely Norwegian knitting website, Pickles, with the two-colour pattern from here. I’m using different yarn, but have already bought some Pickles yarn for my next project…

How do you know the sizing when you’re knitting? That’s my major problem when I try to knit anything (so I stick to wraps, blankets, scarves…) I need to move back to a colder climate so I can start knitting again! You’re so talented!

thanks all! haha grandma it would be a very small exhibition.
car you use a pattern and check your gauge – you see that a certain amount of stitches matches a certain length… i was pretty sure my gauge would work out on this one cos i’m using the same yarn and needles i used to make felix a vest earlier this year…
i’m currently figuring out how to sew the sleeve into the sleeve holes, with the help of youtube. i was not happy with my own approximations. i’ll have to try again tomorrow. it’s quite frustrating but i want to get it right…
